The Northeastern Japanese region of Tohoku is renowned for it raw natural scenery of mountains, forests, lakes and hot springs, with incredible views and few crowds. We found hiking around this region was beautiful and tranquil with the sounds of water and wildlife. Tohuku is known for some of the best countryside that Japan has to offer.
